Christine Rumi, AIA, Intern Architect with McBride Architecture, received her Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Oregon in 1995. While working for Barnes Gromatzky Kosarek Architects in Austin, TX 2000 to 2008, she was Project Manager and Construction Administrator for Nan Clayton Elementary School, Austin Independent School District for a 95,000sf school fast-tracked in four phases to meet an aggressive schedule. Received a 2 Star rating from the City of Austin Green Building Program; New Convention Center Garage and Austin Energy District Cooling Plant, Project Architect, 256,000 sf garage and 55,000 sf chilled water facility. Responsible for document coordination, submittal and approval acquisition from various city departments for building permits and license agreements. While at ZGF, Portland, OR, she worked on the United States Consulate, Istanbul, Turkey and the Portland International Airport Expansion. |
