Richard
(Mac)
McBride is a Principal in and President of McBride ARCHITECTS, P.C.
He is responsible for the management of services provided by
the firm to all clients. His
responsibilities also include design and project management.
He has more than thirty years of architectural experience and
has provided ongoing services for numerous clients including Oregon State
University, Western Oregon University, Portland State University,
Bonneville Power Administration, Eastern Oregon State College, Port
of Portland, U.S. West, Timberline Lodge, Centennial School District,
Corbett School District, Salem School District and
Oregon Parks & Recreation Department and the City of Portland. Mac has special expertise in the specialized areas of
restoration, renovation, capital renewal and deferred maintenance.
He has completed numerous feasibility studies, renovations
and restorations relating to many of Oregon's historic and landmark
buildings.
Timberline
Lodge and the Vista House at Crown Point, are two of Oregon's most
visited and treasured sites. Historic
buildings at Oregon State University, Western Oregon University,
and Pacific University are included in his portfolio.
The Campbell Hall Renovation included a base isolation system
and employed construction techniques often used to prepare buildings
for relocation. |
